Sunset Beach mailbox

Yesterday, driving back from the Sandpearl reception on Clearwater Beach, we drove down Sunset Beach (the south end of Treasure Island) to see what was new. This mailbox (click on the photo to enlarge) caught my attention - done in the same colors as the house behind it.
One of the great things about Sunset Beach is the eclectic nature of the residents. It’s a pedestrian community with lots of houses and very narrow roads which reflect the “sunsetters” lifestyles. Interesting architecture, unique colorschemes and at times comical, yet artistic lawn ornamentation are all easy to find on sunset beach. It’s certainly no cookie cutter community and the only time you’ll get grief from neighbors is if you build something that blocks their view of the sunset.
