Placido Bayou
Placido Bayou is a gated community in northeast St. Petersburg, Florida. It is a PUD or Planned Unit Development, and has condominiums, townhomes, and primarily single family homes, both zero lot line and estate homes. It has 361 acres, most of which were originally wetlands. There are currently 636 residences and the community is fully built out. The earliest homes were built in the late 1980s and the most recent home in the 2000s. 26 acres are lakes (retention ponds) ranging from 1.2 acre to 13 acres. Walkways go along some of the lakes. Small condominiums start in the $100,000s; townhomes start in the $300,000s and single family homes range from the mid $300,000s to over $1,000,000.
