The Florencia, a luxury condominium in downtown St. Petersburg Florida has quality construction by JMC Development. It was built in 2000 and 67% of the current owners are the original purchasers, so not many condos come available. 90% of the owners have their homestead here so the Florencia is a very stable condo community Each year 0 to 3 condos sell. Downtown St Petersburg Florida – busy Saturday, April 18, 2009

The 34th anual Mainsail Arts Festival is this weekend at Vinoy Park in downtown St Petersburg Florida (Bayshore Drive and 7th Ave NE, on the waterfront just east of the Renaissance Vinoy Hotel and the Vinoy Place condominiums.
Saturday, April 18th, 2009 from 9 am to 6 pm
Sunday, April 19th, 2009 from 10 am to 5 pm
This juried art show generally attracts about 100,000 visitors.
It’s within walking distance of our ALVA office at 238 Beach Drive NE.
Also this weekend in downtown St Petersburg are events from the Festival of States.
The Harvey’s 5K Festival Run starts at North Straub Park at 8 am
The Festival of States Day Parade starts at Central and 5th St at 10 am and ends at North Straub Park at the Renaissance Vinoy Hotel.
The Festival Familyfest is from noon to 4:30 pm in North Straub Park. Games and live entertainment.

North Straub Park is between Beach Drive and Bayshore, just south of 5th Avenue North.

Groundbreaking of the new Salvador Dali Museum in downtown St Petersburg

Everyone is invited to the Groundbreaking of the new Salvador Dali Museum on Friday, December 12, 2008 just south of the Mahaffey Theater on the downtown St Petersburg waterfront. The surreal celebration is from 10:30 am to noon with a light brunch, entertainment and other surprises.
